Ian Garry wants women to rule the world, right after he’s done converting everyone to a vegan diet.
Considering the demographics of the UFC fan base, those opinions drew widespread backlash on social media; not just from fans, but also from his fellow fighters. That said, Garry hasn’t seen a single comment or tagged photo because he unplugged himself ahead of his UFC 330 title fight.
“What do I think about online backlash? I have no idea what you’re talking about,” Garry told Betvictor Casino (via MMA Junkie). “I have absolutely no idea about any backlash or any criticism because I haven’t been online. I have a world title fight against the best fighter on the planet right now, and that is all I have been focused on. I don’t use social media anymore. I use it to promote the fight.”
